Pastor McKinley Moore,

District Superintendent

 

 

McKinley Moore was born in Parma Missouri. He has lived in Minneapolis since his high school days, where he graduated from North High in 1975. He went on to graduate from St. Olaf College in Northfield Minnesota, in 1979 with a B.A. Degree in Education; and Minneapolis Community College in 1985 with an A.A. degree in Law Enforcement. He was employed by the Minneapolis Public Schools for 19 years, receiving a Teacher of The Year Award in 1995.

 

In the North Dakota Jurisdiction COGIC, he serves as Jurisdictional Secretary and District Superintendent of the Anointed District.

 

God continues to elevate Superintendent Moore, and expand him in ministry. In November of 2013, He heeded the call to expand Jehovah Jireh Ministries Internationally. He served as General Overseer to Christ Healing Chapel-Jehovah Jireh Ministries International, having three locations in Liberia, West Africa: New Matadi-Monrovia, Douhzon-Margibi County, and Nagbe Town; as well as the Jehovah Jireh Ministries-Major N. Parker Sr. Elementary School of Liberia, Serving Grades K-4. This Partnership ended in March 2017.

 

Superintendent Moore personifies the call of Jeremiah 3:15 “And I will give you pastors according to my own heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.”

 

He and the wife of his youth Sandra Anise (Reed) have been married for Forty Years. They are the parents of two adult sons: Stephen (who is married to Fatima) and Jason. They are also blessed with two granddaughters, Nylah and Aria. First Lady Moore and the first family play vital roles at Jehovah Jireh Ministries and are among Superintendent Moore’s greatest supporters in all that God has called him.

Sandra “Annise” Moore is the youngest of four daughters born to the late Mother Willie Mae Reed. Born in Memphis TN, and raised in Minnesota, she was very active in the youth programs at First Church of God in Christ, under the leadership of Pastor Earl Demmings. As a talented and gifted singer, she sang with the youth groups “The Christian Five”. “The Sounds of Revelations”. and the “Minnesota State Youth Choir”. She also sang with the Minnesota State Choir in their live recording “Victory”.

 

First Lady Moore is the mother of two adult sons, Stephen Rickshaun, and Jason Richard, a Grandmother of two (Nylah and Aria), and wife of 40 years to Superintendent McKinley Moore. She served faithfully fulfilling many responsibilities at Mount Olives Church of God in Christ, Pastor Robert E. Jenkins for 13 years; until her husband was called to Pastoral Ministry

 

First Lady Moore is a graduate of North High School, Mpls, and an alumnus of St. Olaf College in Northfield MN. She is employed as an accountant for Ameriprise Financial Inc., where she has worked for over 32 years.

 

She has served the Jurisdictional Women’s Department as State Sunshine Band President and Coordinator of the State Women’s Retreat. She is the recipient of the 1997 Minnesota Jurisdiction “Pastors’ Wife of the Year” award.

 

First Lady Moore is indispensable at Jehovah Jireh Ministries, which she founded with her husband in May of 1992. She does whatever her hands find to do to the Glory of God. She currently serves on: The Praise and Worship Team, Chair & Treasurer of the Finance Committee, and President of the Sunshine Band.

 

Truly her children have risen to call her blessed, her husband gives her praise and he is known among the Elders. The works of her own hands speak to her honor. First Lady Annise Moore is a woman who fears the Lord.

McKinley Moore was Saved in 1979, called to the Ministry in 1985, Licensed in 1986, and Ordained in 1988. He founded the Jehovah-Jireh COGIC, having the opening service on May 17, 1992. He left his teaching post with the Minneapolis Public Schools to serve full time in the ministry in September of 1998.

 

Jehovah Jireh was blessed to close on the purchase of our beautiful church building set on 3.2 acres, in the city of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota in December of 1998. Pastor Moore founded and served as Board Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Bishop C. H. Mason Institute of Child Development Preschool. In May of 2003, He founded and serves as Chief Executive Officer of the “Something Moore Book Store” located at Jehovah Jireh. In 2001 Pastor Moore was appointed to the Chaplaincy of the Brooklyn Center Police Department where he served through the close of 2010.
